highly sensitive people workshop/group
A Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) experiences heightened sensitivity to various stimuli, both external and internal. This trait, known as sensory processing sensitivity, affects approximately 15-20% of the population. HSPs usually notice subtle details, feel emotions deeply, and can easily become overwhelmed by bright lights, strong smells, loud noises, or crowded environments.
HSPs are often deeply empathetic, highly intuitive, and creative, but they may also need more time to recover from intense experiences or overstimulation. Being highly sensitive is a natural variation in temperament and is not a disorder. Recognizing and honoring this trait can help HSPs thrive in a world that may not always accommodate their unique needs.
Our workshops and small groups for HSPs provide psychoeducation and practical tips for navigating everyday life.
